“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
― R. Buckminster Fuller
Our current social, economic, and political systems are not set in stone, but they are being consistently reinforced by our collective choices. Each of us holds the power to envision, choose, and act differently. When we collectively unite our efforts, we can rewrite the narrative entirely, shaping a future that aligns with our shared values and aspirations.
The Collective Action Network is opening a space for a genuinely global community to co-create our shared future. We are weaving innovative ideas from diverse disciplines to develop a new paradigm that empowers all forms of life. Most importantly, we are testing these ideas to address real world challenges in local contexts and refining them until we discover balanced and effective solutions.

Brayden Beckius founded the Collective Action Network to overcome the systemic barriers in existing global institutions. Drawing from her experience working in international organizations, national government, NGOs, and think tanks, she mapped out the current international order and identified areas where significant change could be achieved by leveraging a new type of system.
Before founding the Collective Action Network, Brayden worked for three years at the United Nations Office of Counterterrorism, first in the Countering Terrorist Travel Programme, then in the International Hub on Behavioural Insights to Counter Terrorism. She received her master’s degree in international peace and security from King’s College London, and her bachelor’s degree in international relations from the College of William and Mary.
Brayden was born and raised in Fishers, Indiana in the United States and currently resides in London, UK.
